The Money Respin is the reason Wolf Gold outlived its own generation. Six money symbols anywhere in the base game lock in place and award three respins; every new money symbol that lands resets the counter back to three. The symbols carry cash values of up to 100x the bet, and filling all fifteen grid positions awards the Mega Jackpot of 1,000x. Three fixed jackpots are in play during the round, but Pragmatic Play publishes the value of the Mega only.
The round, step by step
The money symbol is a glowing blue moon, and it can land on any of the five reels in the base game. Each moon carries a value drawn from a fixed set — the smallest is 1x the total bet, the largest is 100x — or, instead of a number, it carries one of the two smaller jackpots. On a normal spin the moons simply pay their face value once the line wins are settled.
Six or more moons on one screen change the game. Line wins are paid first, then the ordinary symbols fade out and only the moons stay, locked where they landed. The reels are replaced by special reels that hold nothing but moons and empty spaces, and the counter shows three respins.
Every respin that lands at least one new moon locks it in place and puts the counter back to three. The round ends in one of two ways: three respins pass with nothing new, or every one of the fifteen positions holds a moon. Then all the values on screen are added up and paid as a single amount.
This is why hold-and-win rounds feel "managed" — you watch the grid fill and the counter refill — even though each respin is an independent draw. A round can end with seven moons or with fourteen; the game does not remember how close you got last time.
Mini, Major, Mega
Three fixed jackpots are in play during every Money Respin: Mini, Major and Mega. They are fixed in the sense that they do not grow with other players' bets — each is a set multiple of your own stake. The Mega is awarded for one thing only: all fifteen positions filled with moons. Pragmatic Play publishes its value, and it is 1,000x the bet on top of whatever the moons themselves are worth.
The Mini and the Major work differently. They do not need a full screen. A moon can land carrying a jackpot instead of a number, and it is paid with the rest of the round. What the provider does not publish is how much they are worth, so the only place you can read those two figures is the paytable inside the lobby where you play — the three meters above the reels show them in your currency at your current bet.
That is also where you can see whether the jackpots scale with the stake. In Wolf Gold they do: the meters change when you change the bet, which means a bigger bet raises the amount, not the chance. There are no published hit frequencies and no "average" jackpot figures for this game, and this page will not invent any.

Two features, one screen
The Money Respin is not locked to the base game. The rules say it plainly: the feature is available during the free spins round. Three canyon scatters open five free spins, and in that round reels two, three and four spin together as one giant 3×3 symbol while reels one and five stay normal.
That changes the arithmetic of the trigger. The rules list the money symbol as present on every reel and do not exclude it from the giant symbol, so when the middle reels come up as one big moon, nine positions are covered in a single hit — the six-moon threshold is met at once, with most of the screen already held before the first respin. From there the round runs exactly as it does in the base game — three respins, a reset on every new moon, the Mega for a full screen — and the free spins resume once it ends.
It does not happen often, and the free spins round itself needs three scatters to open, so treat it as the best-case branch rather than the plan. But it is the branch where the 2,500x ceiling of the game lives: a giant symbol, a respin with most of the screen already filled, and the Mega on top.

Six moons in, three respins, a reset on every hit, and the Mega only for a full screen. Everything else — the Mini, the Major, how often it fires — is written in the paytable of the lobby you play in, not in a review. Check it there, then decide your stake.
